Here's a peach. :-P

Pattern is free. However, there's VENMO, CASHAPP, PAYPAL, or simply send me a message if you'd like to support this guy.

Materials:
  • Lily Sugar'n Cream - 3 colors (tea rose, warm brown, sage green)
    • Sidenote: You can use any yarn that you prefer for your amigurumi projects, I just happen to use cotton yarn for all of my creations.
  • Hook - size E / 3.5mm
  • Yarn needle
  • Fiber/poly fill stuffing (I also use scrap yarn to stuff the pieces)

Abbreviations (US Terms):
  • MR - magic ring
  • SC- single crochet
  • INC - SC increase (two in same stitch)
  • DEC - SC decrease (SC two together)
  • SL ST- slip stitch
  • CH - chain stitch
  • [ ] - repeat steps inside symbols as many times as it says
  • ( ) - the number inside parentheses will let you know how many stitches in that round

This pattern is worked in rounds. If needed, use stitch markers to keep track. Or you can be like me and live on the wild side.

Tips:
Keep the ends inside the project so that you only have one end to weave in. Weaving in yarn is probably the most daunting task, so any way to have less of it, the happier you will be crocheting.

Directions:
Body (with tea rose):
  • R1: SC into MR 4 times (4)
  • R2: [1 SC, INC, 1 SC] x 2 (6)
  • R3: [INC] x 6 (12)
  • R4: [1 SC, INC] x 6 (18)
  • R5: [2 SC, INC] x 6 (24)
  • R6: [3 SC, INC] x 6 (30)
  • R7: [2 SC, INC, 2 SC] x 6 (36)
  • R8: [5 SC, INC] x 6 (42)
  • R9 - R14: SC around (42)
  • R15: [5 SC, DEC] x 6 (36)
  • R16: [4 SC, DEC] x 6 (30)
  • R17: [3 SC, DEC] x 6 (24)
  • R18: [2 SC, DEC] x 6 (18)
  • R19: [1 SC, DEC] x 6 (12)
  • R20: [DEC] x 6 (6)
Fasten off. Leave a long tail to weave into the top, come out trough bottom, and
                 make indent on the peach.

Stem (with warm brown):
  • CH 6, turn
  • Skip 1, 1 SL ST, 1 SC, 3 SL ST

Leaf (with sage green):
  • CH 6, turn
  • Skip 1, 1 SC, 1 HDC, 1 DC, 1 HDC, 1SC
Fasten off. Sew stem and leaf to the top of the peach.

Eggplant. I literally created this to symbolize "eggplant emoji", but it's an eggplant for those who don't have their mind in the gutter.

The pattern is free. However, there's VENMO, CASHAPP, PAYPAL, or simply send me a message if you'd like to support this guy. :)

To get started you will need:

Materials:
  • Peaches & Cream - 2 colors (Black Currant, Rosemary)
    • Sidenote: You can use any yarn that you prefer for your amigurumi projects, I just happen to use cotton yarn for all of my creations.
  • Hook - size E / 3.5mm
  • Yarn needle
  • Fiber/poly fill stuffing (I also use scrap yarn to stuff the pieces)

Abbreviations (US Terms):
  • MR - magic ring
  • SC- single crochet
  • INC - SC increase (two in same stitch)
  • DEC - SC decrease (SC two together)
  • SL ST- slip stitch
  • [ ] - repeat steps inside symbols as many times as it says
  • ( ) - the number inside parentheses will let you know how many stitches in that round

This pattern is worked in rounds. If needed, use stitch markers to keep track. Or you can be like me and live on the wild side.

Tips:
Keep the ends inside the project so that you only have one end to weave in. Weaving in yarn is probably the most daunting task, so any way to have less of it, the happier you will be crocheting.

Directions:
Body (Black Currant yarn):
  • R1: SC into MR 6 times
  • R2: INC x 6 (12)
  • R3: [1 SC, INC] x 6 (18)
  • R4: [2 SC, INC] x 6 (24)
  • R5: [1 SC, INC, 2 SC] x 6 (30)
  • R6: [4 SC, INC] x 6 (36)
  • R7 - R12: SC around (36)
  • R13: [4 SC, DEC] x 6 (30)
I would start stuffing firmly at this point and continue until the end.
  • R14 - R16: SC around (30)
  • R17: [3 SC, DEC] x 6 (24)
  • R18 - R19: SC around (24)
  • R20: [2 SC, DEC] x 6 (18)
  • R21: SC around (18)
  • R22: [1 SC, DEC] x 6 (12)
  • R23: [DEC] x 6 (6)
                Fasten off. Sew ends together.

Stem (Rosemary yarn)
  • R1:  SC into MR 4 times (4)
  • R2 - R3: SC around (4)
  • R4: [1 SC, INC] x 2 (6)
  • R5: [INC] x 6 (12)
  • R6: [1 SC, INC] x 6 (18)
  • R7: [2 SC, INC] x 6 (24)
We will now form the 6 points
  • R8: Chain 5 (coming back down chain) skip 1, 1 SC, 1HDC, 2 DC. Skip 4 st from R7 and sl st into 4th stitch. (do this 6 times)
Fasten off. Attach stem to body and sew.

Jacqueline, the Pumpkin

Picture
Nothing screams fall like pumpkin.... pumpkin spice, pumpkin pie, jack-o-lanterns, and apparently people even catapult pumpkins across fields. But we know pumpkins, like flowers, aren't around forever. So make your own (or a couple of them) to keep with you all year round.

However, there's VENMO, CASHAPP, PAYPAL, or simply send me a message if you'd like to support this guy. :)

Post your creations on social media and make sure to tag me @allofjose or use #allofjose
Materials:
  • Lily Sugar'n Cream - 3 colors (Orange, Green, Brown)
    • Sidenote: You can use any yarn that you prefer for your amigurumi projects, I just happen to use cotton yarn for all of my creations.
  • Hook - size E / 3.5mm
  • Safety Eyes 9mm
  • Black thread or yarn for the mouth
  • Yarn needle
  • Fiber/poly fill stuffing (I use scrap yarn to fill my creations)

Jacqueline is a character, but you can make this simply a pumpkin by not adding safety eyes or the mouth. Creative freedom! Still tag me though. :)

Pencil me in...

3/25/2018

Picture
The "Pencil me in..." creation was first created for a teacher friend I met during my time in Vegas. It has translated to my life where nothing is set in ink. I keep traveling city to city, meeting with different people, writing stories that I hear, it is all amazing! So I find myself penciling people in.

But of course, this would be a CUTE end of the year present for a teacher or professor. The original one I made I actually added the last name of the teacher (look at the pictures at the bottom).

Pattern is free. However, there's VENMO, CASHAPP, PAYPAL, or simply send me a message if you'd like to support this guy. :)

To get started you will need:
Materials:
  • Lily Sugar'n Cream - 5 colors (Hot Pink, Overcast, Yellow, Yute, Black)
    • Sidenote: You can use any yarn that you prefer for your amigurumi projects, I just happen to use cotton yarn for all of my creations.
  • Hook - size E / 3.5mm
  • Yarn needle
  • Fiber/poly fill stuffing (I use scrap yarn to fill my creations)

Abbreviations (US Terms):
  • MR - magic ring
  • SC- single crochet
  • INC - SC increase (two in same stitch)
  • DEC - SC decrease (SC two together)
  • SL ST- slip stitch
  • [ ] - repeat steps inside symbols as many times as it says
  • ( ) - the number inside parentheses will let you know how many stitches in that round

This pattern is worked in rounds. If needed, use stitch markers to keep track. Or you can be like me and live on the wild side.
Tips:
When switching colors, keep the ends inside the project so that you only have one end to weave in. Weaving in yarn is probably the most daunting task, so any way to have less of it, the happier you will be crocheting.

Stuff the project as it grows. Every 10 rounds I would stuff it with the scrap yarn I used.

This pattern is to get the the pencil pictured above (8.5 inches long). However, you can add rounds or reduce rounds in the Hot Pink and Yellow sections so that you can get it any length you want. Realistically, every pencil in the world is different from the moment it is first used, so have fun with it!
Directions:
Start with Hot Pink Yarn:
  • R1: SC into MR 6 times
  • R2: INC x 6 (12)
  • R3: [1 SC, INC] x 6 (18)
  • R4: [2 SC, INC] x 6 (24)
  • R5 - 9: SC around (24)

Switch to Overcast:
  • R10: SC in outer stitches only, all around (24)
  • R11: SC in inner stitches only, all around (24)
  • R12 - 14: SC around (24)

Switch to Yellow:
  • R15: SC in inner stitches only, SC around (24)
  • R16 - R35: SC around (24)

Switch to Yute:
  • R36: SC in inner stitch only, SC around (24)
  • R37: SC around (24)
  • R38: [2 SC, DEC] x 6 (18)
  • R39: SC around (18)
  • R40: [1 SC, DEC] x 6 (12)
  • R41: SC around (12)

Switch to Black:
  • R42: [DEC] x 6 (6)
  • R43: SC around (6)
  • R44: DEC around to create point & SL ST. Cut and weave in end!

Below you will see picture of the work in progress (#WIP) so that you can reference as you are working on your own pencils!

Here's the original pencil I created, along with the "engraving". I added more rounds in the yellow section to make it longer.
