Here's candee, hate her or love her, she will make an appearance every year around Halloween time!

Pattern is free. However, there's VENMO, CASHAPP, PAYPAL, or simply send me a message if you'd like to support this guy. :)

To get started you will need:
Materials:
  • Lily Sugar'n Cream - 5 colors (White, Orance, Yellow)
    • Sidenote: You can use any yarn that you prefer for your amigurumi projects, I just happen to use cotton yarn for all of my creations.
  • Hook - size E / 3.5mm
  • Safety Eyes 9mm
  • Yarn needle
  • Black thread or yarn
  • Fiber/poly fill stuffing (I also use scrap yarn to stuff the pieces)

Abbreviations (US Terms):
  • MR - magic ring
  • SC- single crochet
  • INC - SC increase (two in same stitch)
  • DEC - SC decrease (SC two together)
  • SL ST- slip stitch
  • [ ] - repeat steps inside symbols as many times as it says
  • ( ) - the number inside parentheses will let you know how many stitches in that round

This pattern is worked in rounds. If needed, use stitch markers to keep track. Or you can be like me and live on the wild side.
Tips:
When switching colors, keep the ends inside the project so that you only have one end to weave in. Weaving in yarn is probably the most daunting task, so any way to have less of it, the happier you will be crocheting.

Candee is a character, but you can also not add the eyes and just have a candy corn amigurumi!
Directions:
Start with White yarn:
  • R1: SC into MR 6 times
  • R2: INC x 6 (12)
  • R3 - R4: SC around (12)
  • R5: [1 SC, INC] x 6 (18)
  • R6 - R7: SC around (18)

Switch to Orange:
  • R8:  [2 SC, INC] x 6 (24)
  • R9 - R10: SC around (24)
  • R11: [3 SC, INC] x 6 (30)
  • R12 - R13: SC around (30)

Switch to Yellow:
  • R14:  [4 SC, INC] x 6 (36)
  • R15 - R16: SC around (36)
  • R17:  [5 SC, INC] x 6 (42)
Place the safety eyes between R9 and R10 approximately 4 stitches apart.
  • R18:  [5 SC, DEC] x 6 (36)
  • R19:  [4 SC, DEC] x 6 (30)
                   Stuff the body firmly.
  • R20:  [3 SC, DEC] x 6 (24)
  • R21:  [2 SC, DEC] x 6 (18)
  • R22:  [1 SC, DEC] x 6 (12)
  • R23:  [DEC] x 6 (6)
                   Fasten off. Sew ends.
